The AI Hype, Hope and Humanity (AI HHH) Festival is a space for genuine exchange, where knowledge flows in every direction, and where responsibility is treated not as an abstract principle, but as something negotiated in practice.
Are you working on responsible AI and its real‑world implications? Do public values play a role in your research or practice? Are you developing research, interdisciplinary insights, or hands‑on applications?
If the answer is yes, submit your application and join us at the AI Hype, Hope & Humanity: Co-creating Responsible AI across Research Policy, and Practice. During this three-day festival, we will examine how AI is shaping societal resilience across domains such as work, health, education, media, food, safety, and defense.
We will explore pathways for digital transition and long-term change through workshops, debates, live demonstrations, and an expo-style showcase, including a startup competition focused on responsible AI solutions. Our discussions will focus on the skills, education, and structural conditions needed to enable responsible and human‑centered AI in the years ahead.
The event is organised by the network of ELSA Labs in the Netherlands: The ELSA Labs Network Project, ELSA Lab AI MAPS, ELSA Lab Media & Democracy, ELSA Lab Defence, ELSA Lab Northern Netherlands, and the ELSA Lab AI4SFS.
We’re proud to collaborate on this project with other Erasmus University Rotterdam initiatives: SEISMEC, COALESCE, AI@EUR, Community for Learning & Innovation – Erasmus University Rotterdam, Erasmus AiPact, ECDA, and AICON colLAB.
