AI Startup-Investor Matchmaking Event

AI-hub South Holland proudly co-hosts the AI Startup-Investor Matchmaking Event at the World Summit AI 2026! We call upon all startups and entrepreneurs in the South Holland region to participate and join the AI-hub on October 7.

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the Dutch AI ecosystem will once again organize the AI Startup-Investor Matchmaking Event, in the Amsterdam Area HEMbrugterrein.

Who should attend this event?
🔹AI startups and spin-offs developing novel AI technologies and seeking (pre-)seed, Series A, or corporate investment.
🔹Investors and corporate investment representatives looking to connect with the next generation of AI innovators.

This event is not for startups that apply readily available AI without further innovation and/or development.

What can you expect?
Approximately 15-20 investors, including European partners, for one-on-one matchmaking sessions with pre-selected startups: 5 rounds of 20 minutes each.

You will have the opportunity to directly discuss growth plans, investment needs and AI solutions with relevant counterparts.

You can also attend inspiring presentations on AI business cases, regional, national and EU support programs for young AI companies, such as Breaking Barriers of AIC4NL, the TTT-AI program that supports academic entrepreneurship and LLM-BRIDGE, a pan-European accelerator for GenAI and LLM-startups.

In 2026, the World Summit AI annual startup competition is getting super-charged! As part of our partnership with Pathfounders, the new tech startup media brand launched by former TechCrunch Editor Mike Butcher, we are crowning one promising startup, with the “Pathfounder to Watch” title for 2026. A hand selected judging panel of top tier global VCs, with Mike Butcher at the helm as the panel chair, will hear quick fire pitches from 5 cutting edge startups on day one of the event. The final two chosen start-ups will battle it out on the mainstage to be crowned the “Pathfounder to watch” Start-up competition winner for 2026.

Startup Accelerator

This lively pod area is for startups who want guaranteed visibility and to have a space on the expo floor where investors and customers can drop by, check out demos or products.

Investor Club

Identify potential AI startups, emerging technologies, and innovative projects for investment opportunities. Vetted investors will receive complimentary all access passes to not miss a beat on the next big thing in AI.

Matchmaking

Startups and investors will be able to network and schedule 1-2-1 meetings on our AI-powered networking app. Fill out your profile to be connected with the right capital and partners for you.

Startup mixer

The renowned World Summit AI startup mixer will happen on the evening of the 7th October. Don’t miss a chance to mingle with likeminded Founders and seasoned investors.
