AI Meet Up: AI for Drones
November 24, 2022 - 15:45 - 17:30
AI for Drones
Recent years have seen massive improvement in drones, both in terms of hardware, as well as in the accompanying software for control and utilization. In this session – together with Prof. Dr. Guido de Croon (TU) and Michaël Ozo (XOsight) – we will explore drones from very small to big, highlighting some recent developments and future challenges.
The AI Meet Ups
The Meet Ups are a monthly event series, where each time a new AI issue is put to the test. It is our goal to showcase the Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem of Delft and Zuid-Holland, to inspire students and the surrounding area, and to give academia and industry a place to network.
On September 27th, we held the Ethics and AI meet up where Prof. Dr. Jeroen van den Hoven and Eveline Jacobson from the UWV explored how the ethical challenges at the UWV impact their AI development and use. In the latest edition – on October 20th – we tackled the topic of AI for Bioscience together with Prof. Dr. Henk Noorman from DSM.
