Are you spending too much time on the details of setting up your AI/ML workloads?

Having access to cloud resources through Cloud4Research does not answer the question on how to efficiently use these resources.  In this session, you will learn about the relevant services for AI/ML workloads, and how to apply them in your research.

AWS Solution Architect Benedetto Carollo will provide an introduction on how to use AWS native services to run ML/AI workloads. He will cover some of the different steps of the ML workflow – from data ingestion, to model preparation to model deployment – using a practical example from the medical imaging world (classifying X-Rays to identify pneumonia). He will introduce and explain the different AWS services that are used and position them within the AWS services stack. In his demo, he will demonstrate three different approaches, ranging from unmanaged to fully managed. At the end of the session, participants will have a basic insight into how to run an ML/AI project in AWS, as well as a first understanding on how the principles shared could apply to their specific use cases.

The doors will open at 9 o’clock; the session will start at 9.30. This event will be held in English.
