Mondai is the Japanese word for ‘problem’ or ‘question’ and the fitting brand name for the House of AI that the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) has established in order to connect and enable all stakeholders in the development of artificial intelligence (AI). To contribute to smart collaborations and partnerships, so that the ‘questions’ can be answered and the ‘problems’ solved. To enable innovations together and capitalize on economic and societal opportunities.

The TU Delft works hard to realize its mission to create ‘impact for a better society’, through education, research and innovation, and stands at the heart of the Dutch ecosystem for technical and scientific development. With its AI Initiative the university focuses specifically on artificial intelligence (AI), data & digitalisation.
Convergence
The TU Delft is also a proud partner in the knowledge cluster Convergence, in which it joins forces with the Erasmus University and Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam, and the University of Leiden and the Leiden University Medical Centre.
Zuid-Holland AI
Mondai House of AI and Delft University of Technology, together with the regional economic development agency Innovation Quarter also lead Zuid-Holland AI, one of the seven regional hubs of the Dutch AI Coalition (NLAIC).

At Mondai House of AI you will meet our students and scientists. At the TU Delft alone over 1.500 scientists are working on AI-research, generating an enormous potential that we can create impact and value with by connecting stakeholders, both in the scientific community and the outside world.
At Mondai House of AI you will find programs that help you discover which AI-techniques and applications can be relevant for processes and services in your company or organization.
