During this AI Lab Lunch the AiBLE Lab and the AiDAPT Lab will present themselves and their latest developments.

(This event will be held in English)

The AiBLE Lab (Activating Intelligence in Building Lasting and Liveable Environments) aims to help reach effective, transparent and lasting decisions and agreements. This means incorporating human feedback into the loop, iteratively improving decision-making and driving behaviour changes. They focus on two important built environment challenges: energy transition and circularity. By using AI to augment human intelligence and support negotiation and deliberation continuously – while adapting to and driving human behaviour – they aim to close the policy-practice gap responsibly and inclusively.

The AiDAPT Lab (AI for a sustainable and resilient built environment) aims at creating new scientific paradigms towards a more reliable and sustainable built environment by bridging fundamental and applied AI. They bring together computer vision, data science, and decision optimization methods through the development of deep learning, reinforcement learning, and uncertainty quantification frameworks that help us analyze and synthesize decisions for architectural and structural systems.

Note for TU Delft PhDs
Per 4 seminars from the AI (-related) seminar series: Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence Systems (HCAIS) Deep Dive; and Delft AI Lab Lunches, PhD candidates from partaking TU Delft faculties can earn 0.5 GSC for up to 1.5 GSC (category: Discipline Related Skills). Check with your local Faculty Graduate School if they offer this option for earning GSC; and with your supervisors if they accept our seminars on your Doctoral Education list.

Delft AI Lab Lunch Series
The Delft AI Lab Lunch is a monthly meet-up hosted by the TU Delft AI Labs & Talent community at Mondai | House of AI. Every month, two Delft AI Labs present their work and discuss challenges and developments made in their field.
